I like your site. Looks like a great department with alot of history protecting Emmitsburg and the NFA.
Great site! I am a transplanted Marylander born in Baltimore and raised in Glen Burnie and for a short time, inThurmont. My grandfather played was the guest organist when the NFA was St. Joseph's College. He conducted the music for graduation exercises at the college. My family relocated to Florida in early 1969. I graduated high school in Hialeah Florida was an all American football player and received a full scholarship from The University of Maryland from 1975-1979. Played special teams for the Terps and served as a vollie for College Park VFD. That's when the firefighter bug bit me on the seat meat. I then took an entry exam for the City of Fort Lauderdale and was hired April 7, 1980. I rose through the ranks retiring as an Operations Division Chief in 2005. I was then hired by the City of Port Orange serving as Fire Marshal and moving to Operations Deputy Chief of the Department. I oversee 5 stations and 58 personnel who are the most dedicated group of professionals I have the honor to work with. Keep up the great work you all do! Hope to see you all soon!
This timepiece is indeed one of the most advanced timepieces nowadays. Unfortunately, this timepiece will be available Luxury" target="_blank">http://patinarestaurant.com/watches.php">Luxury Replica Watches in limited edition of only 100 pieces so you should get your own piece as early as now before they're all gone.

Would like to say " Thanks again to the brothers and sisters at VHC6!" Made us feel welcome in your house! Was good to connect with other firefighters and very impressed with the house and equipment! Enjoyed our visit to National Fire Academy and VHC6! Special thanks to Jenny and David who showed us around the house and gave us a little history about the house!!

I, too, like the newly enhanced website very much and still feel a part of VHC every time I read it. I also enjoyed my short visit to VHC last week, especially seeing John Hollinger and Cliff Shriner. Keep up the great work! I really miss VHC.
